What food for cherry shrimp and where to buy?

I've not fed my shrimps for more than a month... what food do they eat and where can I buy the food? Also, how much food do i put in?


On a side note, i'll be making a trip to C328 tml to get some more cherry shrimps (and maybe the food), do they have stock available now? coz i dun want to make a wasted trip...

I feed my cherries Hikari bottom feeding wafers either called Hikari Algae Wafers or Hikari: Food for Cories etc.....i was there on wednesday n i 'm quite sure they had a good stock of cherries n they r pretty red ones too!

I fed my cherries with Hikari Algae wafer too.
Just drop 1 wafer and all of them will fall in.

I think you should call the antie and check with her if they still got stock
since you want to be on the safe side.

Hey bro i was at C328 jus now n i can confirm they haf stock of cherries n the price is 20 for $12. I saw abt 5 packs at aprox. 6pm today. So i guess tom u can go check it out. As far as i noe, they usually stock up on their live stock on mon & thurs. Hope the info helps

Feed my Yamoto and Cherry shrimps on the alternative day with Hikari Algae Wafers (they got crazy on this) & normal fish flake food..
Don't feed them too much if not, they 'forget' how to eat the algae....

Bought it in Qian Hu on one of my rare visits there. Was browsing thru some sites and its supposed to give them better calcium or nutrients for their shell. Just hope my cherries don't develope claws and walk sideways after eating that stuff.

I feed the crab cruisine and the granules that I am feeding my fish...

hmm they eat algae wafer, pellets, bloodworms( will diryt water), moss

Can someone enlighten if those un-eaten algae wafers cloud the water? The shrimps never seem to be able to finish the food and it somehow disappears afetr a couple of hours. Could it have dissolved into the water?
