protein skimmer

hi

i have the sea clone 100 it's the new mod. it's about 2 month and always i got bubble
into my tank. i don't like this protein skimmer and i want to change it.
i read about the new aqua c remora pro and about the berlin i know they are good but expensive to. i read here on the jebo 180 and i want to know if there is more member that happy with this skimmer comper to the venturi driven proein skimmer ?
i don't want to spend a lot of money and i want to know if this will do the work and if there is more positive opinion on this skimmers.

note: i read a lot about this protein skimmer and i understand that they almost work the same.i know that if you change water or add any conditioner to the water it's make more bubble. but no matter what i try to do with this seaclon it's not work good.

maybe you want to try protein skimmers by MACRO...they are reliable and afforable too...

You can prevent bubbles from returning into the tank by using those fine mesh sock/bag. The holes are in micron size if I'm not wrong. Try to find the smallest micron sized hole. It will keep the bubbles in the sock/bag. try those established marine lfs.

don't buy the sea clone . it's not worth nothing. as i know from searching the web the cpr bak pak good one for less price about $70 in the famous auction site.... or if you want good one take the aqua c remora i read a lot of positive on this one also ther some pepole happy from the jebo skimmer and about $40. but do not try the other you spend money for nothing and it's beeter to wait and to buy skimmer that will do the job.

Not all skimmer are the same. They use different method of skimming. Some use venturi, other uses needlewheel.

just like wat BFG said, diff protein skimmers differ from each other by the method of skimming....also e branding n where it is made contributes to the price....

MACRO is either taiwan or china-made, its skimming technology is so far reliable as heard from most experienced reefers in sg....it can be found in most established marine lfs...its price is also fairly reasonable too
