I use PL lights 4 x 55watts. 2 fans no chiller. It does make my room a bit more humid on a hot day.

Justikanz: I had the tiny particles problem too until I inserted 3 layers of fine filter media into the canister.

Koah Fong: The tank is pretty much the same now except that the Rotala Macandra lost all leaves after my two-week overseas trip. Most likely lack of Fe dosage (I dose small amount everyday). The glosso had overgrown and I pull them all out.
