This picture series depicts a typical Sumatran squall that invaded Singapore at 04 July 2005 at around 0700 Local Time. I was doing my observation duties at Changi Meteorological Station when this monster came along. These are taken from my new DSLR which I was pretending to snap like a pro![]()
The first picture was taken at 0711 am and the last picture at 0716 am. See from top left to bottom right. Just imagine the speed it came at me, and I had to stop snapping and rush back in to carry out my necessary operations.
But as it reaches Changi Airport, it lost its fury and only rained about 5-6 mm. Thank goodness! But the wind was WOW!![]()
