Looking good! Should be nice when matured.

Just my preference: I would like to put the Ludwigia and the big sword plant at the right behind the driftwood -- to create a sloping effect from right to left. The current plant list looks sufficient. The Echinodorus quadricostatus and Hair Grass will spread in no time. Simple is good.

Hi Kenny! Still using your well water?

You got potential, keep it up. Experiment with more plants and understand their characteristics. Then slowly select or eliminate the plants you wish to achieve for the scape.

Looks like ludwigia repens you have at the left corner. You can start trimming it into half now and replant the tops. The bottom half will soon put out two side shoots from the 1st top internode. This way, you will achieve a faster plant growth and a more compact look.

You can try all sorts of cheap stemmed plants like, rotala rotundifolia(red/green), hygrophila polysperma, limnophila sp...etc....any type you can get hold of. Plant farm sells cheap for $1 each. You buy more, cheaper. Experiment....
