Brown Algae

Hi All,

I guess everyone including me knows abt this problem. I got a 2 ft tank that is now badly infested with brown algae - or brown stains that covered every inch of my tank, esp on slow growing plants.

I presume its due to insufficient light, but I already got 4 FL tubes already. What else can it be?

i think it's not enough water change, overfeeding or time to clean your filter.

how often do you change water? what fishes you have inside the tank?

You have otos in your tank? they will take care of it.

Hey thanks guys... Plants are ok... except I din have otos in there, only got SAEs...
