Cherry shrimp mating???

Hi below is a poorly taken picture of 2 cherry shrimps hugging to each other can someone enlighten me if they are mating? Another question is does cherry shrimps fertilise their eggs internally or externally? thanks

Hey bro, as far as I know, cherries mate and the male fertilizes the eggs directly. So once the eggs have been fertilized, the female will carry them under her till they hatch My cherry has already two batches of shrimplets under her belt! They are pretty eazy to breed, just give them enough hiding place and they will do it on their own Good luck & have fun!
