Fert regime

Can anyone share their fert regime, what brand used and what product?
What is the diff in the fert regime for new tank set up (day 1) to mature tank set up (>= 1 month)?

Have just set up a 2ft tank...when do i need to put fertilizers in and whatr type? What do you recommend?

Sure I can. I use a 2ft myself too.

There are two sides to this. One side recommends that fertilisation not be added during the first two weeks or so, since plants are still recovering and do not grow much.
The other side just doses nutrients immediately. I'm the latter.

The difference is of course with a mature tank=more plants=more nutrients required.

Here's my fert regime for my 2ft with 72W of light and CO2 injection.

Monday - 1/4 teaspoon KNO3, 1/6 teaspoon KH2PO4
Tuesday - Trace elements
Wednesday - Nothing
Thursday - 1/4 teaspoon KNO3, 1/6 teaspoon KH2PO4
Friday - Traces
Saturday - 50% water change, 1/4 teaspoon KNO3, 1/6 teaspoon KH2PO4
Sunday - Traces

As you can see it's quite on the high side, because of my 72W I have to do this.

For others to advise on what fertilisers you need to add to your tank, you need to provide them the full specs of your tank, lights wattage, CO2 injection, what size the tank is, blah blah. Include everything.

Thanks Terence. Can advise what type of ferts are all-in-one for easy dosing?

My tank spec as follows:

Size: 2x1x1.5(h)
Light: 2x18W (FL)
CO2: 3bps, plants (HC, hairgrass, lotus) bubbling already
Photoperiod: just started yesterday, so 6hrs for now...will increase to 8 hrs next week.
Fert regime: decide to let plants settle in first (seeking clarification)
Dennerle base fert, lapis sand (2" thick)
Plants: HC, MM, rotala, lotus, hairgrass
Fauna: Taken out for now, will intro when tank is cycled
