I have a dwarf gourami, blue gourami, and two others that are larger(gouramis) and I have a problem. I know not to put two males together, but I did and the male blue has killed my female dwarf and is now after the male. The male dwarf now has big red sores on side and is gapping its mouth a lot. What do I do? Please Help!

    Hi Autumnstar77,
Take the aggressor out, take it back to the shop and change for a male dwarf gourami. Or buy another tank to house the blue one.
You might want to read up on some books on fishes to predetermine what you want to add later, it will save you alot of trouble. Books by 'Barron' are good.
Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.
