Was informed that the pleco experts are here. Pls help Id the one on the left.

I think it's a butterfly L168.

Thanks Akoh, and also the link provided by coryfav, which help me to guess that it's L168.

I also like pleco, the problem is identifying them which I'm very poor at. I've a few bristle nose, and I don't which L number they belong to. Just see them at LFS and cannot resist so buy..Not easy to take picture of them coz they are very shy and hides except the L168.

So you're the one.. Indeed there're alot pleco lovers here. Yes, I did get the help I needed, thanks to the experts here. Now if only I can take the pic of some of my bristlenose, so you guys can help to ID.

I paid $45 for it at Petmart.. There's 2 of them there, and they are so cute, so cannot resist and bought one of them.

I think it looks more like a L134, Leopard frog pleco, which has broken black strips rather than solid continuous ones of L168.
