Oriental whip snake - Ahaetulla prasina

I was in Seremban my gf's house. There is a small jungle behind her house. Her dad told me they killed some Cobra and some unknown snakes before. And i saw this fella yesterday. Was using a fish net to catch it. But it just escape from the net within a second.

I was told this snake is harmless. Anyone hv any info about this snake? I am thinking of getting it into my terrarium.

this is a fun snake..but it is mildly poisonous... the venom wont kill you... but it may cause some symptoms..

i've wild caught a few b4 and handled them.. very friendly in my opinion... try a reticulated python..those guys are mean..lol
