I ever heard this this kind of apisto will change their sex during young depanding on condition. If 2 young panduro is put togather they will eventually grow up to become one pair. Dono whether I got hear wrong.....

Hi benetay, u are right. Even those in H20 is not in good condition. The Nij in the pic is a female. The male is even nicer. The female like the rest of the apisto with turn very yellow when in breeding mood. Heard they are quit tough to breed and less than 50 eggs per spwan. That why so ex.

A.trifasciata is worst, they spawn with only 20-40 eggs and sometimes lesser, i know that Nijsemmi is nice but i don't have enuogh tank maybe go get one =)

That fish and pet place sells nice Nijsemmi and it's cheap.
    Cheers!

kenzo, u are right they are very agressive especially during feeding, on of my Nij actually snap the blood worm from the mouth of my discus. But they are actually quit shy. They will only attack when other happen to swim into their home ground
