I think you meant corys.
Try OTOs. They are "good" fishes.
hi guys,
been thinking of introducing bottom sifters (those little catfish like with stripes) into my 1 month old planted tank.
However. i'm worried that it will destruct my plants. any recommendations besides this kind of fishes? it seemed to do the job well in my other tank though.
thanks!!!

Cories are not recommended because they disturb the substrate and may uproot plants.
They can be kept though, just have to leave a bare open space for them to graze on.
yes, they are cories.
whats OTO?
Oto = Otocinclus
It's an algae eater. See http://www.aquaticscape.com/articles...htm#Otocinclus
koah fong
Juggler's tanks
Just to add on, specifically it's a brown algae (aka diatoms) eater![]()
But otos won't sift through the gravel...which is what Liew is looking for.
I think cories will be fine. I have some and they don't disturb the plants much at all. There are many types to choose from too.
