    my guppies are down with white spots in my 2ft planted tank...
    what am i supposed to do to cure them?
    i believe its like a disease.. it'll spread rite?
    in another words, the water is polluted with disease?
    help help.. dunno wat to do..
    i seperated 5 guppies this afternoon into another hospital tank..
    just now went to check, all dead... -.-"
    there are a few more which are infected...
    help help...

    You can use salt and regular water change.
    As for the exact dosage, i cannot remember.
    This disease will also slow down its rate of spreading under higher temperature water condition.
    So if you are using a fan, you may want to switch off for the time being.

    Salt and water change is good advice.

    Keep the tank temperature about 28 degrees. Add 1 tablespoon of salt for every 15 L of water. Change water every other day and keep the salt dosage. Condition should improve within 5 to 7 days. Then stop treatment.

    Treat your main tank too. There should be cysts floating around.
