How about Harlequin Rasbora or Rummy Nose Tetra?
Not expensive ...
Harlequins are mid-level schoolers. Rummy Nose tend to school nearer the bottom.

corydoras? thanks benny... you sure they dont eat the blades of the leaves?
gchoo, go get the new Barilius from Gratiola...
try harlequin, cardinals, six banded barbs. Anyway tetras, rasbora or barbs. As long as not too many, they will school well.

Well, Barillius bakeri it is.
You also try Inlecypris auropurpureus , Mr Choy's personal favourite.
