    Hey Michael!!

Good of you to share your pictures with us. I've always enjoy your updates and to be honest, am rather envious that there isn't more opportunities to journey with you.

Thought you had prefered the Nikon D70s? Last minute change of heart? But these pictures look great!

Hope to see more regular updates from you soon!!

    Cheers,

p.s. we have some butterfly fanatics here too!!
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Benny, good to see u too. This is my second time to go to KL to hunt Nikon D70 or D70s....but its still out of stock!!! Its selling like a hot cake over there....& this D50.....nobody wants to buy it.

    Before I bought D50, I bought a Taiwanese magazine "Digi photo"....it says that D50 also a good DSLR camera....so I decided not to wait for D70s, I picked D50.

Well Michael... you won't regret it. It's not the camera, but the a good understanding on the basics of photography that will get you better pictures. With access to such prestine wilderness, I'm sure your photos will shine above many with the gear, but without the opportunity.

And also, now what you are on clubsnap, I'll be bumping into you even more often!!

    Cheers,

    Micheal,

I have friend (camera shop owner) selling D70S.... And he still keep 1-2 units. If i know you are hunting for it. I will bring you there. The price is RM3500-3600. And 1GB flash card.(If i m not mistaken it is flash card.) RM320. So, less than RM4K you can get the D70S with the 1GB card...

To be honest, I find anything in the 90/100/105 mm range quite good. You can consider the Tamron or the Sigma lens, which is much cheaper than the Nikon version, but just as good. Check out the deals in clubsnap and if there's anything you like in Singapore, I can help you pick it up. No trouble at all.
