If I recall correctly, the plants will react to the adhesive agent and die. This will result in rotting and the rest of the plant breaking off and floating away.
If you are really lazy, have you considered cable tie?

Hi hi... Just a query from the lazy one... I am wondering, can we use silicone or some epoxy (like the ones that can be used under water often used in the marine hobby to stick coral pieces) to stick a small portion of some plants/moss eg. Christmas moss, pelia, etc onto rock or wood instead of tying them? Hopefully the rest of the plant will adhere to the surface thereafter... Would there be any adverse effects on the plants? That would definitely save alot of poeple alot of time and effort... Hmm...![]()
