dwoon,
If you know you are hi-jacking a thread, why don't you just start a new thread? Besides, a new thread with an appropriate title will get you more help. I've split your post out into a new thread for you.

Sorry for hijacking this thread.
But when shrimps are injured (like bring sucked by the filter), do they recover or will evetually die?
My cherry got stuck at the filter inlet and ever since I got it unstuck, it has gone to a lesser pink colour and has not been active. It'll just stay still and very occasionally move. Very different from before when it would go all over the tank.
Thanks.

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Sorry about that........
Thanks.
It depend on the injuries. If the shell is misshapen, probably it might not make it. Monitor it for a few hours.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

Its shell seems to be alright. Think its the legs that got injured. It doesn't crawl properly and it has stopped fanning itself like previously. It has already survived for some 8 hours but still inactive.
Thanks.
