    Hi guys,

Some of you may already be using the nice new silver cannister filter from Tetra Japan. From the recent Japanese Aquarium magazines, it seems like they have other new products that was introduced in the Japanese market too..

A rather cool (no pun intended) looking silver fan for the summer season. Looking at the design, it seems like there's 4 way directional control. Good for tanks up to 45 cm with the ability to reduce up to 3 degrees celcius. Running on 100V through a 12V adaptor and we won't be seeing it on our shores anytime soon. Can anyone advice if the fan will still work when we change the adaptor to 220V?

Anyway, the fan was introduced in Japan from June 2005 and retails for 2800 Japanese yen. Typical Japanese prices.

Seems like silver is Tetra Japan's color for all their recent product introductions. The new battery autofeeder (AF-3) retails for 4200 Japanese yen. Equipment with 12/24 hours setting and feed up to twice a day with mannual override control. This auto feeder can be mounted directly to the tank glass via a plastic clamp. Given the fact that it's battery operated, there should be no problems using this equipment in Singapore. However, at about S$70, I'm sure it wouldn't find favor with a lot of hobbyists here given the more economical Chinese/Taiwanese options.

Watch out for more news about interesting products from other markets!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    i can't read japanese but i do see a "12v".
so i believe you can replace the adaptor from 110v to a 240v. just make sure the replacement adaptor is 12v output and can supply the required current.
