    I don't know much about the Teco but from what I found out during Aquarama was that in intake of air is from the bottom of the unit which tends to draw more dust than those drawing air from the front.

    This means more maintenace.

    This is the approx cost:

    a) Tank & Cabinet = $1800 nett (have liao - existing FW setup)
    b) Deltec T5 Lights = $800 nett (have 3x150w mh)
    c) American PinPoint pH & Temperature Monitor = $240 nett fm Hong Kong (have liao)
    d) 4 x Ocean Runner Pumps = sbout $1300 (can sell my 2x2028 and topup to buy)
    e) 2 x Dosing Pump = $480 (no have)
    f) Denitrator with Demiball = $800 (no have)
    g) Deltec FR = $290 nett (no have)
    h) UV Sterlizer = $140 nett (have liao)
    i) Protein Skimmer Turboflotor 5000 = about $1300 (no have)
    j) Kalk Reactor = $600 (no have)
    k) Chiller = $1600 nett (have liao)
    l) Tubby = $130 nett (no have)
    m) George Fischer piping = $400 nett (no have)

    i think Ken forgot to include the calcium reactor, co2 setup and pH controller etc.... or maybe that's another tank.

    hmmm.... looks like need to save up to ard 5K++ to convert to big SW setup...
    good thing is that i can only do so when i move house, so that gives me 2-3 yrs to save up
