This is BIG! Has it been filled to the brim to see if the glass can hold the 2.5 tonne of water? Or it won't be filled to the brim?

So the light source is sunlight? Or do you have MH lights etc?

Keep us updated on the planting progress! Wonder how you are going to do the planting.

I'm using 170 x 50 (cm) 19mm glass filled to the brim with 2cm-thick black silicon glue. So, I'm pretty sure it can hold 2.5 ton of water.

Yes, I'm using sunlight filtered by 75% net as the light source and still planning for the MH-lighting sets.. Don't have enough money to buy them now

Keep us updated on the planting progress! Wonder how you are going to do the planting.
    Ok..

One method is to use a black board(as big as the frontal of the tank)in front of the camera with a hole in the centre of the board slightly bigger than the camera lens. That will cut off all the reflections. ... Or you can try shooting at night with only the tank lights on.

hi, to get rid of reflections, you can try using a polarising filter attached to your lense.

i would love to see a frontal shot of it. looks grand, cant wait!
