    Hi all,

My 4 foot planted tank is up. There are 2 folders. Please refer to the folder
"Planted Tank 2005". The other folder was from a previous scape some years back.

It is a low maintenance set-up. Plants are mainly Narrow leaf Java fern, Anubias nana, various Cryptocoryne species, hairgrass and some glosso.

Hey, nice terrarium! Noticed that there was no cover... How did you maintain the moss then? I wish I can set up something to that effect! What are the fauna in it?

Hey, the tank looks nice too... The plants look very healthy!

I think that last 2 pictures is the Paludarium. Instead of Terrarium. Terrarium which is the setup keeping organic plants in high humidity. And there is no water inside. If there is organic and non organic plants with 1/3 of water inside the setup. That is the Vivarium.

Paludarium is half of the setup is planted tank and half of it is the terrestrial plant.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Btw, your planted tank capture soul...i love to watch at it.

Oh yes, itssg, you're right... That's more a paludium... I am wondering how the mosses are maintained without the humidity...

As long as there are water running thru the mosses or the wood. With the enough lighting. The mosses will grow emersed.

I have very similar set up as yours. But at current moment the area which is covered by hairgrass in your tank is covered with various stem plants which is for 2nd tank.

    Currently at planning stage.

Yes, my apologizes. It is a paludrium.

Actually, the paludrium is in an air-con room. It appears like there is no humidity for the moss. But I actually has tubes running around the tank that channels water to the plants and mosses, it is just that we do not see it because it is concealed by the plants.

Thanks for the comments on that tank. Let me know what I can do to improve it as well.

maybe you can have some bare wood stick out.

The moss is thick and a little delibrate, if you get what i mean.
