Just now went to explore some swamps near Batang Kayan (great Kayan river). All the photos published in my website :

    http://www.ibanorum.netfirms.com/kayanswamp.htm

The 1st swamp I visited is.....the habitat of licorice gourami & Betta lehi. As the water level is too high, its too difficult to collect any fish there.

    Betta lehi:

    The next one....worst....not much water:

But found very tiny swamp eel:

    Plant sucking bug

Last one, a swamp I first found Betta cf anabantoides in year 2004:

    Betta cf anabantoides:

    Guess what is this???

    Its a spider!

    Hey Michael!!

    Wow! An interesting set!

Like the Betta lehi very much. Sadly, mine from the last trip is gone a few months ago.

How on earth did you find the swamp eel? It's so tiny!!

And the spider is so interesting! Actually, it looks like used chewing gum stuck on the leaf! You should get an even closer picture!

By the way, how's the lens sharing arrangement with your friend?

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
