    Hi All

Need help to ID these plants...

2 of them are foreground plants.
The other 2 are known as Gu Jing and Hong Tai Yang. Was wondering what is the real name for these plants.

    Thanks
    Regards
    Gene

Too near to water surface and strong light make it turns emersed form type of leaf. Cut and replant it shorter and it will reverse back. That is my own experience.

but mine doesn't change to broader leaves. it is still the same even if it is at the verge of coming out from the water.

Different tank, different condition, difficult to comment why defferent until you list/compare side by side all the detail condition, like lighting and maybe some other factor.

At least Gene is not alone and its plants turn emerse leaf is not abnormal.

ADA soil and low PH might be some factors contributing to broader leaves too i suppose
