A question about Rams...

Hello..

I'm currently havng two rams in my 1 feet tank.. Only about 3.7gallons(14litres)..

I just want to know, does ram do well at temperature of 27-30?? Or lower...
Please share your experience with Rams with me.

Your tank seems quite small for a pair of rams. I hope that you do not add more fishes to this tank. For small tank, you need to take care of the water quality real well, otherwise, things go bad quite fast.

Are the rams paired? If not, there can be a problem with territorial behavoir, especially if you have 2 males.

Oh? Must be in pairs? They are very peaceful together now..
Their size is not the matured one. It's Still young.. The small size one..
ya...

Erm, Will they eat shrimps? Because, i can't find any of my newly bought cherry shrimps..

Besides these two rams, and some (4-5) shrimps, there is nothing else..

My tank is real small.. Just testing out and playing around.. My moss, still in its dying state.. It's been 5-6 days le.. And for the first few days, the temperature was 32.. And recently, i've bought cooling fan and now, it's under control; 27.. But, will the moss get shocked?

I really don't know.. I know that they don't need so much light and they will grow fast if they are in slightly cooler water..

So, if there is anything to add, please do share with me so that i can learn more. Thanks a lot.

Hi Moderater,

Ermm.. I just got two rams yesterday and they are chasing around in the tank. Sometimes, they are so close together but sometimes, they care chasing around. Are they fighting or are they just playing?

PLease do help me.. And the two rams has white spots on them!
I thought of pouring some medicine inside my tank but it's not good. It will affect my plants. Ya..

So, will the white spots cause something to them?
My temperature currently is about 27-28.
They are always swimming happily in my tank.
But i really don't know if they are nipping each other.
I've checked their fins but it's normal.
