Food for my shrimps

Hey jsut wondering wat can i feed my cherry shrimps? i cant find out where to get the flakes or wafers since the fish shops here in malaysia are very low tech....is there another alternative? if there is pls tell me

use spinach,potato,carrot,sweet potato. most of the leafty types of vege will do. cucumber too (boil it first)
