I felt the side of one of my 2ft tanks the other day that had an internal filter running, sucked on to one side. I felt slight vibrations.

Does anyone know if this affects fish somewhat? I'd go crazy if I lived in a place where there was constant humming.

I don't think the fishes seem to mind. If you put air pumps, the noise is even worse. But the fishes seems to be swimming happily, assuming all othe parameters are ideal.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Both my tanks are running internal filters and I do not see the fish complaining...

In fact, one of my fans is giving more vibrations than the filters...
    Cheers,
