I will recommend NA or C328 to get the CO2 set... The soleniod frm NA is good and also if have problem can go back to NA to exchange.

hi ct,
u have a nice tank! i has been wanting to visit NA but i do not know how to get there. what is the nearest mrt, any idea?![]()
hmmm.. do u know roughly how much will the full co2 set cost? (sorry i know it is hard, but i would like to save enuf money first)
NA is opposite Thomson Medical Centre, nearest MRT is Novena.
A 5 litre CO2 cylinder plus JBJ solenoid/regulator cost in the low $200+. If choose 2 litre or other brand solenoid should be cheaper.
i am presently using a 3.5L CO2 tank that cost $90 and a soloniod that cost $90 if I remember correctly... Both are frm NA. So far so go. Not much problem with the set. I understand that a CO2 set is quite exp (Almost $200...) But it is quite essential if you are talking abt a heavily planted tank as DIY CO2 will not be able to give u a stable CO2 level and it is quite troublesome to use DIY CO2
Can i juz walk from novena mrt to NA?Originally Posted by lwm999

Yes you can, but it's a rather long walk imho. Go along the path until you see Thomson Medical Centre, the shop will just be around the bend. There's a LFS next to it too, so double joy.Originally Posted by hirowen
Yup, about 5-10mins. Come out from the Station Control and turn right, go up the first escalator you see, you'll come out in the shopping center, walk out and turn right, walk down past Novena Church and continue walking past the Shell station, walk past the coffee shop and it's just up ahead.Originally Posted by hirowen
Buses that will stop there are 21, 54, 56, 131, 143, 162, 166, 167, 851, 980... There may be others, but those are what I can rmember off the top of my head.
Should be ok, it is only 1 or 2 bus stop away. But don't think you want to walk when carrying the CO2 cylinderOriginally Posted by hirowen
