Hi Alfred,
you can try getting 2 x Eheim 2028 or 2 x Eheim 2026. Personally, i will put 2 x 2028. Both would probably set you back by around S$550-600.
From experience, I think using eheim really save you quite a lot of fustration and problems.
I haven't had a tank for several years and will be starting up a 5x2x2 soon. What filter would you recommend? It would be helpful if you could state the model, aprox price and where to get it in Singapore.
I am keen to find out more about the Jeboa or Attman filters as well. Are they decent?
Cheers
Alfred

Oh I forgot to mention that it will be a planted tank that will eventually house maybe 200 cardinals, so I will not need that much filtration. I use to run a 6x2x2 with just one 2028 way back when.
Ehiems are top line and I love them, but how are the lookalikes?
Where would I get the Ehiems now?
I haven't been fish tank shopping for over 10 years!
You mean to get Ehiems in Singapore. If so, you can find them generally at places like Clementi 328. Nature Aquarium.Originally Posted by Alfred
As for the lookalike filters like Atman, I find them functioning pretty well. Quite silent filter too (currently using a Atman 3338 for my 3ft tank)

Maybe look into 1 Eheim Classic 2260? That would set you back by about $300 - $320++ depending on where you buy it from. Think Nature Aquarium(oppo thomson Medical) has it for about $300.
Hey Alfred
Have you seen the Eheim Pro 3 or the Aqua one Aquis both are HUGE but the aqua one is half the price nice filters there are reviews and pics of both here http://www.discusforums.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=24
Good luck
Matt
Thanks for the replys. I will be in Singapore tomorrow and will stop in at NA. Understand that Chan now has T5 HO ballast? Anyone tried them yet?
Anyone carry the Jeboa in Singapore?
Matt, do you need anything from Singapore?
Alfred, besides Eheim, you can try Tetra filters. Very nice and easy to use as well.

Do you have a URL for the tetras? Are they external?
Hi Alfred, nope. But you can view it first hand at NA, they carry both.
