    conditions for growing pellia

    may i ask what do you guys feel is the optimum conditions for growing pellia, does it need to have co2 or strong lighting.

    Coolish water (max 28C).... lighting/CO2 isn't so important.

    Agree, cold water is important.
    I tried growing in the shed and under strong light, both are growing well, just under strong light growing faster.

    cause when i tried growing them those under direct light started to turn brown while those in the shade were doing fine

    Oh... I've just seen pellia... Hmm.. It seems very soft... Can it be attached to stones?
    Thanks a lot shihyong... About buying it, i don't know yet.. But i will let you know..
    I'm interested in rearing one for my new shrimp tank... A very small tank....

    yes, it can be attached to stones/ wood.

    hmm...is it susceptible to pleco attacks?
    ...people ask why I eat fish even though i'm such an avid fish keeper... Bottom line is that I've been eating fish a lot longer than I've been keeping them...
