If it's for a planted 3 ft tank, then the Eco 2236 or the Professional II 2026 should be alright. Alternatively, if you don't mind the lack of auto priming, then the Professional 2226 should suffice.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Depending on dimension, 3ft tank (3x1.5x1.5) is about 185L thereabouts.
For low-cost and energy efficient option, can try the Classic 2213 or Professional 2224. Or the self-priming Ecco 2236.

eheim proII 2026 should be , more than sufficient for your 3 ft tank. Yup use that if you have cash. If less cash, then 2213 or 2215 also can

    I've use a 2213 on a 3ft before, flow seems a little bit low. Maybe a 2215 is a better option.

should be ok unless you are gonna attach an external co2 reactor then maybe2215 would be a better choice. Cause 'power' is loss as it meets resistance in the reactor, but if not 2213 should be ok, just nice, 2215 would ensure no problems though

Get the Professional 2224 or better still the Professional II 2026. Better to get a more powerful one cos you can have more options later on like having an external reactor, UV lights or chiller and won't have to worry much about the loss of power due to resistance.

Currently I'm using a 2217 driving an internal reactor with the directional nozzel removed. Flow is just nice. Tried using a 2213 but water circulation seems a problem as I have some spots with diatoms forming. Only when I've switched to a 2217 did the problem went away.

    Cheers
    Sean
