Hi Guys, this is my new 2.5ft cube Vivarium, very simple and still needs lotsa improvements. Any comments and advise are welcome.

The beginning (Forgot to take more pics)

Wanted to do a DIY Foam background but there've been experience from other Vivarium experts that the background will breakdown/disintegrate, hence didn't want to take the risk...

This is how it looks like 1 week after setting up (its been about 4 weeks now)

View of the top and the rainbar, need to hide the rainbar... any suggestions? Was thinking of getting some Tillandsia

Well bro, they "hang" so well because there's no inhabitants in there to "disturb" them yet... unless the few "Fake Spa Fish" can fly and knock them off...

I'll have to monitor them as I'm trying to let them "grow" onto the wood before I add my pair of White's Tree frogs in

well I've yet to make the cover, but I plan to use eggcrate to cover the rainbar area and use glass or acrylic to cover the rest of the tank, any other suggestions on how to make the cover

hmm, you can use eggcrates for the whole thing and just cover up the eggcrate with netting? or since you are gonna use acrylic, why don't you cut holes to fit the pipings nicely?

no bro I'm still learning like many of us, you should see the taiwanese and japanese, they're way much better den this, I guess its coz they can practice more as they've more reptiles and amphibians to practice on (since we only have the white's here that's legalised)

not that we know of, many bros are looking for White's too... I think the only place that have real ready made backgrounds for Vivarium/Terrarium can be found at Pets Kampong at Great World City. Unless you don't mind using those found at LFS(Local Fish Shop).

If u wanna get those treebark type of background, you can find them at NA(Thomson, Opposite Thomson Medical)
