What kind of "dirt"? How big is the tank? You probably need to clean your filter for a start and do a water change.
The leaves of my tonina collects a lot of dirt making it looks very ugly. Is there any way to prevent this?

Those dirt are some black colour particles settling on the leaves of tonina.
You have driftwood in the tank?
Yup... I have a few
Could be from them, as above just clean the filter and water-change
