Revise your regime. How and what do you fertilise? CO2? It's difficult for us to diagnose without tank specs and information

    BTW, welcome to AQ

    I have a 60L tank with DIY CO2. I use Tetra Florapride 5ml once a week.

i did not do any test cos find that testin is not cheap.

hi hi.. thanks for welcoming me

manage to find out some info. new to some of the terms here but worked my way thro to understand

Number and type of Lighting (FL/PL/MH) : 1 FL
Age of light bulbs : about 1.5 mth
No. of hours your lights are on : 10-12/day

CO2 Injection Rate (bps) : 1 bps (though not consistent)
    Type of CO2 (DIY/Cylinder) : DIY
    Method of Injection (e.g. Diffusor/Reactor) : Diffuser

Liquid fertilisers Used : Tetra Florapride
Fertilization regime (Frequency and amount per dose) : 5ml / week

Other fertilisers (Product name. E.g. Root Monster) : none

Other additives (Product name. E.g. Seachem Prime) : none

Type of Filter : external eheim classic 2213

    Amount changed : 30% - 50%

Water surface movement (None/gentle/turbulent) : gentle to none
Circulation (None/gentle/turbulent) : gentle to none

    Tank Temperature : 27-28 C

Bioload (Number and type of fish and plants)
    ------------------------------------------
    Fish:
    8 Danios
    2 dwarf angels
    4 otos
    2 catfish

Plant (all bought back as 1 pot each 1.5 mths ago; had grown and trimmed):
    Java Fern
    Moneywort
    Wisteria
    Anubias nana
    Baby tears
1 newly planted crypt (which i dun know the name)

    Describe your problem :
    ----------------------
all plants were ok or looks ok.

except for baby tears. when i bought them back, the leaves are rounder. now it is thinner and longer. yellower. so it looks horrible cos the lower older leaves looks healthier but then newer leaves look malnutrition.

went to C328 to talk to the uncle a bit. found out that it is more due to insufficient lighting.

    any other opinion?

    thanks

You would need to get some source of NO3, PO4, K to go along with your Tetra Florapride trace mix to cover the nutrient side of things (maybe seachem equilibrium if you feel our tap is low in GH). CO2 will be your biggest issue unless you keep up on the work to make sure it stays around 30ppm. If you are not willing to do the work, go non-CO2.
