    Understand that the word "NANO" usually refer to small tanks setup!
    But is that an abbreviation?
    Someone pls enlighten me on this!

    Yup, it's a word and usually refers to tanks 10 gallons and below for Planted aquariums. I believe, for it to be a nano when it comes to marine tanks, it's 20 gallons and below.
