Almost there, but I hate the sand![]()
After asking some annoying questions on this forum... Will slowly add some more moss on the left and remove that bare rock once the mosses have filled in more...Here's the set up(some may remember me asking about wood placement) -
Tank: Roughly 4 gallons
Lights: 11W PL
Filter: Ocean Free mini
CO2: Azoo tablets(still dissolving...)
Substrate: Some China brand from NA
Fauna: Accidental/unintentional/bonus(?): Approx. 4 Mosquito Larvae Akan Datang: 2 Otocinclus, and a bunch of shrimps.
Plants: Anubias Nana, some moss or other and some white fungus on the wood
Wow... That's got to be one of the worst descriptions I've ever read...
So... What do you all think?![]()

Great start. I hope the moss will completely fill up the wire meshes ( I hate the sight of wire meshes ) and maybe more Nanas at the base of the wood and "stretching" out to the front and right.
I like the wood sticking out of the tank![]()
Here's an update on this tank -
The mosses really need to be trimmed...
Nice growth you have. Contrary to trimming the moss, i would prefer it to grow lusher.Originally Posted by brianclaw
BTW, i do not spot any cooling fan in your setup. Is the tank situated in an air-con environement?

here's my take on this tank.. I like the open area.. I think I would add java ferns behind the anubias nanas... keep us posted. i think this tank got potential![]()
Uh... It's not off... This tank has been growing on lights from the surrounding area... I removed the 11W PL slightly over 2 months ago for this tank... How's that for "low-tech"?![]()
