just got some qns regarding these sterilisers...

1. will UV steriliser totally stop algae problem?
2. what wattage will be suitable for a 3ft tank?
3. how long must it be switched on per day?
4. how much is the market price?
5. is there such thing as an ozone sterilizer, is it better? price?

1) No
2) 9
3) 3 ft tank is about 200 litre, usage is depending on the flow rate of your filter or power head. No fix rule here but of course you want the whole volume of water to be treated.
4) you can check price at C328 or NA
5) I think you are refering to a ozoniser, that is old 'technology' but you might want to check out the marine forums.

jus to check, how many of u guys use this UV steriliser light?

1- what is the ur tank size?
2- on it for how long , day or nite or whole day?
3- what is the use of this uv light?
4- what is the water flow rate going into the UV ?
5- how long then do a replacement of the UV tube?
