I have noticed few days back a kind of white growth on my black widow pectoral fin. The growth is visible but I cant figure it out. I have been medicating the entire tank with Protozin but the growth remains. The affected fish is still eating well and swiming around. Any idea or what treatment should I be doing for this fish? I cant seem to remove it from the community tank unless I remove all plants as it is good at hiding. I have also noticed another black tetra has torn fin as well. Any suggestions?

Stop making frequent water changes. Even if you do, max is 10% and reduce the population of your tank. Also, give them at least 12 hours of darkness so tht they could sleep.
There will be no more deaths after the holocaust. Of course, having 3 fishes in my 400L tank helps.

    i had a similar problem...

my friend told me to add a little salt, and turn the fan off... keeping the temp a little higher... that helped in about a week.

is it the same problem anyone can verify?
