    Dear All,
Can anyone advise me why the tips of some of my xmas moss are turning light brown... those under light. Are they sensitive to light that they must not get too much light? another thing is i used my test kit to test my CO2... wondering if there's fault in the test kits:
here are my results: (find them strange)
    PH: 5.5
    KH: 5 dKH
CO2:40 mg/l CO2 ( the test kit says each drop to change the water to pink and stabilise is equivalent to 2mg/l CO2, altogether i had dropped in 20 drops to get the water change to pink and stabilise. done it drop by drop but the water remains clear until the 20th drop)

is higher PH value better? how can i increase the PH safely? what's the function of adding bicarbonate soda into the water? thanks alot guys

For what I heard, Xmas moss thrive under low light condition or area shaded by plant.

The pH is very low. Could it be the long period of CO2 being turned on?....colin

How are your fishes doing with the temperature swinging like that? Noramlly, X'mas moss do well in cooler water.
    Cheers!!
