    finally aft 7 months since i start, i got my full planted tank gear...i.e canister filter, PL light, co2 blar blar blar....

    here's some shots i took of my tank....just planted some E.tenellus as foreground...waiting for my 3 riccia mesh to grow...having some problem planting the Ceratopteris thalictroides, it don;t seem to be anchoring into my gravel, keep floating up

    btw...here are the specs....
    Tank Dimensions (LxWxH, specify units): 90cm x 45cm x 45cm

    Lighting Intensity(No of Watts) : 2 x 36w PL
    Number and type of Lighting (FL/PL/MH) : PL
    Age of light bulbs : 1 of them 8mths, the other 2mth(seems diff color)
    No. of hours your lights are on : currently 6, gonaa increase to 8hr

    CO2 Injection Rate (bps) :1-2bps
    Type of CO2 (DIY/Cylinder) : 3L cylinder
    Method of Injection (e.g. Diffusor/Reactor) : reactor

    Liquid fertilisers Used (Product name. E.g. Seachem Flourish) : seachem flourish
    Fertilization regime (Frequency and amount per dose) : 3ml per week

    Other fertilisers (Product name. E.g. Root Monster) :-

    flora: java ferns, windelov ferns, anubias nana, erect moss (gorwing damn slowly), riccia, E.tenellus, MM, vallis+sagis and newly added Ceratopteris thalictroides .

    fauna: 2 newly added BETTAs, 5 cardinal, 3 rummynose, 4 green tetras, 5 albinos, 6 black tetras, 3 guppies, 2 SAEs, 3 green eye tetra + some hidden snails...lol


    i just top up my co2 cylinder, but i hear some leaking sound from the regulator...jialat...forsee another problem coming liao...god bless me

    your tank looks like it has lots of potential, i like the way you placed the DW at the left corner, looks rather natural. however i forsee a prob with your tank. The Riccia. Firstly, with 3 ft tank, 2 x 36 is not sufficient. Secondly i doubt it goes with your scape. Rather, why dont you add in another DW in centre angle it tp create a midground. A flat DW. The may add somemore ferns there, japonica in the centre woont hurt too, but the riccia would not look good.

    hmm...yep..the riccia are growing very slowly, or not at all.....

    may consider to replace with taiwan moss foreground maybe....lol

    Wouldn't it be wierd to have the tenellus infront of the moss/riccia? I mean, the tenellus would be taller, right? Water still cloudy?
