Just tore up the whole tank and rescaped last week. Going for a setup with just 3 plants - E.tenellus, Blyxa Japonica and crypts.
Have some Frogbits to soak up excess nitrates now.
The E.tenellus has just started to grow out nicely. Now waiting for the Blyxa Japonica on the right side to grow out and fill up the scape.
The Lotuses are just there temporarily until I shift them to another tank.

Housing 10 Yamatoes, 1 dwarf puffer, 3 Otos and 13 Rasboras.

    Tank Temp : 27 dgrees
    Lights: 4x 39w 10000K T5 (10 hrs)
Substrate: Lapis sand and root monsters
Ferts: JBL Ferropol 2x a week

Same choice of plants for my 3footer!
    I love your E.tennellus lawn.
Are you going to add any wood/rocks?

Sadly, no additives for me. Going to shift house in a couple of months. So going to be tearing up this tank then. Will rescape again when shifting to my new premises.

Haven't you got problems with your dwarf puffer?
It's one of my favourites, but everywhere I read about their agressive behavoir, suggesting it only for a species tank. So I never bought one.

I think your present scape without the crypts would be nice if you add some seiryu rocks.IMO.
