when new leave appear, it's grow into the sand. and also small leave. i've only 1 72 watts. as for my CO2, it's confrim at 1 bubble per second. no leakage. right from my CO2 to external reactor.

firstly i would like to ask u..how did u plant the glosso? I've seen different ways of planting. Some juz insert the glosso into the gravel (no leaves is seen), but they provide strong lighting, glosso will still grow out, but longer time.

so what's the better way? all the way into the substrate w/o leave appearing on top or just the roots into the substrate and leave can be seen?

do we plant them one by one or a few or a bunch at a time? I find it quite difficult (stressful) to separate them one by one and plant them individually.

OT: do we plant HC the same way as glosso as well?

When planting glosso, take a runner and cut all the plantlets into individual ones (those with roots and leaves) and plant them one by one in the substrate, leaves showing. You need tweezers for this job.

For HC, pull apart the clump, and plant in small clumps, as thinly as possible. If you plant in thick clumps, the underneath will rot and you'll get problems. That's what happened to me.

actually my HC was not really planted. i just pushed them into the gravel lightly with my hands and put some sand on top of them to make sure they rest on the bottom.

sure this must be the wrong or "lazy man" method. will remove them and re-plant again. thanks for your advice.

That's another method too. I'm not sure actually, there should be a couple of ways to plant that super tiny messy plant

I plant glosso as per what terrence has mentioned. If you plant the glosso fully into the gravel, u must have strong lighting and it take longer time but easier to plant as well, more like give n take.

dun worry bro, giv them more time to grow and see how. i suspect is ur low light intensity thats slow down the growth rate. do let us know ur outcome. cheers.
