It's a great temperature imho Generally anything between 25 to 38 degrees is fine. 22 should be nice. (Not speaking from experience, who knows, 22 degrees might not be good for plants)

I see... Cause using CL450 for a 3 feet tank. If I set it at 24C, it kinda start running evey 15 min for 2 - 3 min. But if I set at 22C, it takes around a hour or so to kick start.

My office tank can go as low as 22C... It seems good for the plants, esp the mosses... But it seems like pelia doesn't do too well at too low a temperature... Anyone has experience?

The low temperature should also be good for inverts... My red nose shrimps look ok... But it could be bad news for the fish... All my female bettas kena whitespot... And I assume that its the low temperature...

Hmm... Mini pellia does well in my tank with 22C. Kinda grow faster with colder water. No fishes in my tank yet cause fear of white spots also...lol. Wonder if there are any other fish which prefer cold water?

Oh yes, there are... The white cloud mountain minnow is a good example... Pretty, colourful and good in planted... Also can try the Hillstream loach or Borneo sucker... Actually I would think those fish found naturally in flowing streams would love cooler waters...
