Hi just got a pair of young candid in a 1 ft tank. I am interested to breed them but how come the male one keep attacking the female? R they too young to live together or should I put them in a community tank first??

it perfectly normal for males to act so... do provide the female with more hiding places.. if the male keeps chasing her, she wouldnt have a chance to find a breeding area... the role changes once the female is ready to spawned..
