    Hi,anyone have had any problems in planting those long narrow leaf ferns before?
    I was given a bunch,tied some on rocks and drift wood.

    Yes, it's with very long thin leaves.I was told not many places have them.

    you would be right
    the only person i saw with this before was ah tan at system control and engineering
    it has since died a slow death

    the taiwan shop at serangoon north has been quite successful
    with the narrow leaf java fern in their display tank.

    Narrow leaf Java Fern prefers lower temparature, it florishs in Heisenberg's tank probably because of chiller.
    Aquatic plants and LEGO collector.

    I have a bunch in my tank. Its doing OK. I only use fan to cool my tank. This is the most expensive plant I have acquired, $20 from Petmart. Unfortunately there aren't any more around.

    That x $20 a bunch?? Wow,the bunch I was given is a big plastic bag full.
