It's was great to see so many of them swimming together and their interaction amongst each other is never a dull moment to watch.

Alas, all things wise and wonderful must come to an end....

    Sob! Sob!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

So did the responsible owner decide to come pick it up? I can see that the fish had grown more colourful as compared to it when i saw it.

Are there any updates on the other apisto?
    Cheers!

All dead!! It was a terrible accident. Sigh.... anyway....

Here's one of the better picture I got of the Nannacara adoketa. I think their colors show better on darker substrate.

The apistos were attacked by the Jura. Lost my last A. panduro. Went to get myself another 10. Big males too. See who win this time! In the meantime, the Jura started attacking my otocinclus. Crazy fellow. Maybe it needs a female?

As for the Nannacara adoketa, I'm sad because they are finally going home today. Yorky has prepared a beautiful South American set up for them and I have seen it. I think they will be happy there, but I will miss them.

Hopefully we get some picture updates from their new home. The current inhabitants are almost ready to breed too. Will be exciting.

What are you planning to do with the 10 new panduro? Fight with the jura? train him up for summerslam?

    Can't believe you're doing this.

Just isolate the jura in a tank all by himself and use a mirror so he can flare all day with the mirror. Putting in more fishes will just make his life more miserable by saying " Get out! It's mine"

So please do not harm anymore panduro .

On the other hand, the ado are still young but i think they're of breedable size. So whoever the responsible owner better breed them while they still can make it.

    Cheers!

I suppose you are right. The Jura shall go to yorky tonight also. Let him handle the aggressor!

I shall make a nice panduro setup! Without the Jura!

Anyway...see my poor apisto with damaged tail..

    Will recover?

I myself like the panduro family... The difference in this family esp panduro, nijsseni both of them have better looking female compared to the rest of the genera.

If i can still remember correctly, nij aka panda apisto, the name comes from the female instead of the male. It has two big black spots which ideally thought to be eyes of the panda and thus resulting in such a comical name.

It's prudent not to put too many males of the same species in the tank but putting in a few females will be a sight to behold when they all breeds together.

I've got a soft spot for a very nice looking female nij. Not easy to come by...

Don't worry, your panduro will be okay once you start taking care of them
    Cheers!

Sorry to hear the bad news, I'm sure Yorky is well able to handle the jura, didn't know they are so aggressive or is it just this fella.

    On a brighter note...Hope to see Yorky's S. America set-up soon

Yes i'm hoping to see it too, maybe some kind soul like Benny will like to take some pictures for him, since he is too lazy to do any photographing.

Why nobody brings in nice nij so i can view them? Just like these fellas but they're aggrasive, though not as aggrasive like Jura.

Next time we can hold Apisto fighting competition just like betta Joking .....
    Cheers!
