    Hi everyone,

    I just started my planted tank last sunday. Today when i look at the driftwood in my tank, i noticed a patch of white fungus like thingy growing on it. Anyone encountered this before? is it baby-stage hair algae? How should i remove it ... coz i have tied some riccia on the driftwood oredi. Thanks.

    soak in hot water... it shld get rid of it.. its some kinda of fungus..

    Thanks Simon, will do it if it's the only way, which means ill have to untie the riccia from the drift wood
