Algae wafers? Mine are pampered with Hikari Algae Wafers (which they like least), Hikari Crab Cruisine and this Japanese shrimp food meant for CRS... Was going to this the question too... I am feeding them 2 days with a day no feeding in between and sometimes, when I forgot, I end up feeding daily...

Scared that it will foul the water... Noticed that the water will have a lot of precipitates during feeding... But if dun feed daily, the shrimps actually fight over the food...

Yes, they like to be fed. I sometimes throw in food for turtles (cannot spell the actual name but can get the idea), fish food (wat i fed my fishes) and bloodworms. Sometimes seeing them fighting for food is cute. My wife likes to make a fuss out of it. Did not do wc since got shrimplet in there. Also scare they die due to poor water condition. Currently feeding them every alternate day. Looks like I can feed them at a longer interval. They are housed in a 1 ft tank with sponge filter. Also got lots of moss in there.
