K clash with iron?

Read from forum that Potassium will cancel out Iron, so should not be dosed together. So I was told not to use KH2PO4 with Iron.
But if I dose KNO3, the K will clash with iron too?

K+ does not preciptate out, nor block, nor has much impact on Fe2+, nor Fe3+.
Fe is incorporated into plant tissue, K+ does not.

K= is not influenced by Redox, Fe is.
Quite different, they likely mess up and mixed PO4 and K+ up.

Either way, I would not trust what they said.
You can dose KNO3/Traces together.

I typically keep the macro and traces seprate, but this is not critical with TMG etc, perhaps more with Flourish.

Shaman, if you're talking about the posts in AQ by PeterGwee and myself, it's phosphate (PO4), not potassium (K+).

Tom, Peter first brought this up based on a post of yours elsewhere. Any updates on that since then? Thread in question is here. In post #5, he links to your post in the APD.

Thanks for the help. Is it true that once I add PO4 to the water, all Fe is cancelled out?

It depends on the form of Fe that is being bind. Different chelate forms....
