    Damn!!!

    My 100 + green tetras were so stress migrating to my big tank that they developed white spots!

    Would the Blue solution treatment cause harm or colouration on my planted tank. Trying to catch them would be a nightmare!

    Can share your experience? Thanks

    Yes, Methylene Blue, right? They will stain your silicone... And affect plants...

Starting cheap, now have Cryptocoryne beckettii, C.beckettii var petchii, C.crispatula var.balansae, C.griffithii(Melted! ), C.nurii, C.parva, C.pygmaea(Melted! ), C.tonkinensis(Melted! ), C.walkeri, C.wendtii 'Brown', C.wendtii 'Green', C.wendtii 'Green Gecko', C.wendtii 'Tropica' and Cryptocoryne x willisii

    salt is good
    iirc (long time since i dosed) should be 1 tbsp per 20l?
    this is safe for plants and fish
    if you have other parasites (i had some unidentified white stringy worm) 3 tbsp will screw them up but some plants don't like it too well

    i read from peter that 1-2ppt [100g-200g per 100liter] is safe dosage...

    I have nag many times. Just up the tank temp to 32 C. Three days and thats it. Gan Aquarium never has white spots on their fish. Wonder why? That fish room is freaking 35 C. I hate it...

    Thought of tat before, but they are all in a planted tank and is chilling out at 26C

    heat idea is good, ich dies at higher temp (can't remember the threshold tho)
    but when you heat the water up to 32+, you're also reducing the oxygen content in the water
    just make sure you have enough aeration when you do it
    also, if this is a plant tank, some plants might go up the lorry as well
